Jenny has been performing solo and as a member of other touring and recording bands for many years.  Jenny has been performing publicly since the age of five, and the first time she tried writing a song she was seven. Over the years she has established a writing style of the Pop-Folk genre, with a bit of indie and country influence.  Jenny released her debut album "Into The Deep" on November 25, 2022. In 2023 Jenny was nominated by Music NL for "Album of The Year", Pop Artist of The Year", and "Rising Star of The Year".

Gander, NL based Pop-Country Artist

Robyn made her mark in the music industry at the age of 14 with her stirring song about the devastating effects of Dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease, “I Know Who She Is".  At age 15, in 2017, Robyn released her second song and video "Saviour" and in 2018, she released her third single “Hey”, the moving the story of a young girl meeting her father for the very first time. In May 2019 at age 17, Robyn released her full length debut album “The Way I See It”. Robyn has subsequently released two singles - "Hero's Heart" in 2020 and "Inside Voice" in 2021. Robyn released a new EP  "Journey Through Life" in July 2023. In 2023 Robyn was nominated for "Country Artist of The Year" by Music NL.

Placentia, NL, Based Country Artist

Angie Bohlke was born and raised in Placentia, NL, where she still lives. As a child, Angie performed on stage with a solo spot in school concerts, community concerts and was a member of the church youth choir. In 2000, she began playing in cover bands around town and the surrounding areas, performing country, rock and traditional music. Angie grew up with musical influences such as Dolly Parton, Patty Loveless and Kenny Rogers, so it comes as no surprise that she has a passion for country music. She began writing her own original music a decade ago, songs reflecting the personal matters she was navigating.  Angie released her debut single "The One I Hold at Night" on November 30, 2022.  Her debut album is planned for release in 2023.

St. John's, NL based Country Artist

Shanda is a country artist who released her first album "Rewind" in 2017 which earned her a Music NL Country Artist of the year nomination.  Shanda has continued to write, record and release new music, including "His Town" and "Fly" in 2019 and "Move On" in 2020.  In 2022 Shanda released her second album "I Want You to Stay" and was nominated by Music NL for Country Artist of The Year.

Selina Boland

Selina Boland is a multi-faceted Canadian Musician whose journey into the world of music has been marked by innovation, passion, and a distinctive blend of genres. Selina was born in Newfoundland to beloved Lukey's Boat folk singer, the late Laverne Squires. Her musical influences include Traditional Newfoundland, Folk, and 60’s Rock. Selina began performing in her teens with her acoustic guitar in the local circuit of St. John's venues and making frequent trips to Woodstock, New York for shows. Now with five albums and six award nominations to her credit, she has been performing regularly for much broader audiences and frequenting venues and festivals across Canada and Europe. She is currently recording her sixth album for release in early 2024.

Jared Waterman in an artist with a soulful approach to sharing, through song and story pushing him forward. He has built a knowledgeable fan base, with regular followers at his intimate, grassroots performances.  Inspiring artists include John Prine, Avett Brothers and Jason Isbell. Jared released his first album "Up To You" in 2019. Jared has released two new singles in 2022 with another planned for December.  A new album is coming early in 2023. In 2022 Jared was nominated by Music NL as Folk Artist of the Year.

Reilly Meadus is a 21 year-old alternative country singer-songwriter. After realizing a passion for music in his teens, Reilly began performing at local establishments and events in his hometown before eventually frequenting establishments around St. John’s, NL to perform. His performances boast an energetic approach, paired with deeply felt lyrics to combine for a captivating show each time he hits the stage.

Reilly began writing his own music at the age of 19, and is currently preparing to release his first single in early 2024.

CBS, NL Based Adult Contemporary Artist

Mike Thomas is a Canadian born singer/songwriter of 40 plus years. Early in his career he was signed to EMI Music Publishing Canada, affording him the opportunity to write & record with a very talented and diverse group of composers and musicians.  

In the early nineties Mike, with the help of a few good friends in the Toronto music scene, recorded a 9 song CD that was picked up and released by an indie label based in Hamburg, Germany.  

For the next while Mike lived in the US, writing, recording, collaborating and performing mostly in Florida with time spent in New Orleans and Ashville, NC.  

Mike was born in Ontario, but returned to Newfoundland about 2 years ago (he spent his teen years here).  He can be seen performing up the shore and frequently downtown.

Mike continues to write and record while also collaborating with other artists- his take on older rock & Americana makes every performance a unique listening experience.

Renée Marquis

St. John's, NL Based Jazz Artist

From jingles to jazz with lots in between, singer Renée Marquis trained classically, spent 9 years touring central and eastern Canada in various rock bands, jingling all the way and eventually landed back in NL, where she fronted the Rick Hollett Jazz combo, joined the Ed Goff Big Band and the Bill Rose Blues band, as well as session singing at various studios from Toronto to NL.

 

She has worked with most local jazz legends from (the late greats) Ralph Walker and Leo Sandoval to Pat Boyle and Bill Brennan and with Mun Jazz Ensemble in their Gold Medal performances at the Canadian Jazz Festival (c 1980) with Paul Bendsza.

First known for cohosting CBC's "Step to Stardom", she continues to be a featured performer with the NSO and is releasing her second album of jazz standards, in conjunction with Bill Brennan.
