Pharos Music is excited to announce that St. John's, NL based Alt-Pop band “This Day” has joined its artist management roster. The band has been busy playing live shows and have released five singles, including their debut EP “Sad Movies” in June 2023.
Thank you to Music NL for two 2023 nominations for "Event of The Year" and "Industry Professional of The Year". Also a huge thank you to all the artists who have trusted me with their new music and careers, and all those who have given their music and hearts to make "Behind The Songs" a success.

“Behind The Songs” return on March 23 at The Ship for the first show of 2023, featuring Randy Matthews, Shanda, Jenny Mallard and Angie Bohlke. Additional shows for May 11th and June 1st at The Ship will also be announced in the future.
Derrick Sturge, Pharos Music Inc. has been nominated for a 2023 ECMA for "Artist Management of The Year". 
2022 was the first full year of operations for Pharos Music Inc. It was a great year for Pharos, thanks to the amazing artists, the funding agencies that funded the artists (Arts NL, Factor, Music NL, and The City of St. John's), the venues (The Ship, The Masonic Theatre, Bannerman Brewing, and Broomstick Brewing), producers, and fans that support the artists.
On October 27th Pharos Music is pleased to present Rev. Dave and the Sin Eaters, Shanda Murphy, Randy Matthews, Selina Boland, Jenny Mallard Music, and Jared Waterman Music, at 7:00pm at the Boomstick Brewing Taproom at the Hew & Draw Hotel, 55 West Street, Corner Brook. Be sure to drop by and see these local artists live with a full band. Special thanks to Corner Brook-based Rev. Dave and the Sin Eaters for their efforts in making this a reality.
I have had the privilege of being able to work with an amazing group of local artists over the past year. My passion has always been to help artists advance their music careers. Being nominated by Music NL for "Industry Professional of the Year" and "Outstanding Company of The Year" is a bonus. Thank you to the artists who have placed their trust in me and to Music NL.
